The final two locomotives to travel on the now dormant portion of the Sydney Sub are seen plodding along slowly passing over a small culvert that was constructed in 1915, exactly 100 years prior to this photo. These two motors were in Sydney at the shop for servicing, but due to the inspection on the line running out on August 16th, they had to be moved prior to that date. With GWI intent on abandoning the line, along with tearing up the track as soon as possible, this very well could be the last train to ever ride on these tracks, let alone the final CBNS train.
