New SD40T-2 No. 8300 leads a westbound string of boxcars at Woodford, CA. These units were very impressive when they were first delivered, and all worked Tehachapi. Truly these locomotives were one of the most beautiful freight engines ever designed, and represented EMD in its heyday.
