| On an absolutely gorgeous late summer afternoon, featured here is a photo that was captured at what is arguably one of my favorite locations to ascend. From atop the canyon cliff, we see Amtrak's Southwest Chief #3 as it negotiates the twists and turns of scenic Apache Canyon. Coming in at a length of roughly 900 feet, the train is only slightly shorter than the canyon itself. |
