For a short period of time back in 2014, Norfolk Southern ran a few DPU'd coal trains north to Cincinnati. Having a coal train north of the Brown Power Plant just a few miles north of Danville is rare enough, but DPU's?! It was a nice change of pace. Here we see one rounding the slightly super-elevated curve in Dryridge KY one early Summer afternoon.
