A glimpse back into yesteryear into what once was the old "PD" tower. PD tower served an important role on the Montauk branch, where the block operators regularly hooped up train orders and managed trains in manual block territory. Also unique to the tower was the structure leaned to one side resembling the Tower of Pisa in Italy. PD tower was demolished in 2006 following the signalization out to Speonk with little remains of its existence today. If you look closely under the computer screen are block stations; BO, MO, PT, SK, WH, ND, SN, BH, AG, and MY written on the lip of the shelf.
