Norfolk Southern ships a wide variety of commodities, including locomotives for foreign railroads: NS train 361 has arrived at Brosnan Yard in Macon, Georgia, and is taking its locomotives to the diesel shop. The rear three locomotives in its consist are brand new EMD GT46AC types built in Muncie, Indiana, being shipped to Savannah, GA, for export to the Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) in Saudi Arabia. While moving about the yard, intermodal train 291 is departing for Jacksonville, Florida, led by GE D9-40C number 8771. This is one of the few domestic "train meet" scenes to be captured with the export locomotives, as they are normally coupled between the road locomotives and freight cars during transit.
