A pair of M-2s bring 177 south under the signal bridge at a location known to the railroad as McCoy. However, many of us local railfans (some of whom are seen shooting video of this passing train) refer to this spot simply as "Granny's", in reference to the older lady who lives alone in a home across the tracks from here. It is rumored that many of her family members worked for the railroad, back when this area was still ran by the Tennessee Central, and that the home she lives in was built by the railroad for them. But no one has confirmed these rumors...
