Farewell, Tunnel 10. BNSF Railway empty grain train X-STOAVI9-04A, heading from Stockton CA to Arvilla ND, passes through Tunnel 10 at Marcel, just uphill from the famed Tehachapi Loop. Due to a double-tracking project, Tunnel 10 is being scraped away, and now the rear of this 103-car train can be viewed in the distance, rounding the Loop a mile or so back (by rail, but not distance because of the winding main line). Power for this train is BNSF SD70ACe 9227, CSXT ES44AC 932 and BNSF ES44AC 6043. (Is that a TARDIS down in the trees?)
