Since november 2015, the former Uetlibergbahn train from Zürich, electric railcar Ce 2/2 # 2, passenger car C # 41 and freight/baggage car D # 311, are used as a bistro/small restaurant, called "Les Wagons", in Winterthur. Just behind the train are the mainline tracks Zürich-Winterthur. The train was built in 1923 for the standard gauge line from Zürich Selnau up to the Uetliberg mountain (grade of 7.9 %), withdrawn from vintage service in 2009 and then exhibited during 5 years in the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne (without the baggage car).
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
