| Here's a look at the backhead inside the cab of ATSF Texas-type 2-10-4 #5011. This locomotive was the first in the final order of 2-10-4's that the Santa Fe ordered during 1944. There were twenty five 5011 class locomotives in service for the ATSF, and several of them have been preserved. At the Missouri Museum of Transportation, you can get up close and personal with this fine oil burner. |
