The last active GP35 in TSBY black and yellow, 393, has finally been escorted to the GLC paint booth (394 still holds its black and yellow, but it is not active due to major mechanical issues). The prep process will be a long one as the shop forces are taking their time. What is certainly cool about the strip has been the unveiling of the original Annie Orange, originally applied by EMD in November 1964, that has been hidden skin deep beneath the yellow and black. So, for a moment in time, the fallen flag has popped up on the GLC. In a few short weeks, the yellow will be gone, and so will the classic orange, soon to be replaced in the flagship blue and white that graces counter part GLC 385, sitting on C track next to it.

just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
