Remarks & Notes
The Spud Local crests the 16 mile grade from Albus (Columbia River) siding through Trinidad loop at Quincy, WA with a much longer than usual train. This five day a week job usually works at Quincy, but can go further east to serve elevators along the mainline to Spokane. This train will blow through Quincy and continue east with the block of grain cars on the rear. The front five hoppers will later be spotted in Quincy. 20 years after the BNSF merger, this week's local has two former CBQ GP40s in the BN whiteface scheme, number sequentially. Back in Wenatchee a former ATSF GP40X still in blue and yellow is handling switching chores.

Some how, these locomotives have managed to last this long with the colors of their previous owners, which have since vanished into history.
