With Tehachapi's hills looking unusually green for late December, Union Pacific's Lathrop, Calif to Los Angeles (LATC), Calif. high priority intermodal train battles up the grade towards Tunnel 2 and onward to the summit of Tehachapi Pass with 6,000 FT of cargo behind the four locomotives.
