Daylight up the Delaware
While the Southern Tier is arguably one of the more scenic lines in the tri-state area, daylight freight trains are an incredibly infrequent occurrence on this line. In the summer of 2013 there was one of those rare opportunities to shoot the NYSW in daylight on the tier as SU-99 operated West. The four-pack of SD60's at the left of the frame is balanced out with the Delaware river at the right at one of the more scenic spots in Basket, NY. |
