While it has been hanging around Michigan in various spots, including Battle Creek, Flint, and most recently, Lansing, GTW 5936, the last SD40-2 in Burdakin Blue was picked up today at Cory Yard by CN L502 and was being shuttled south to Toledo. With a BC Rail Dash-9 still in red, white, and blue and a CN/IC Dash-9 made for quite the eclectic lashup on a cold January day. As the light power returns to its train, the last rays of sunlight poke through the thick clouds and cast a warm glow on the endling.
