Remarks & Notes |
Carnival Crossing Starrucca
The annual carnival train is seen slowly crossing the impressive Starrucca Viaduct behind a set of NS GE's for power. While during the longer days in summer the evening SU-100's may cross the viaduct in daylight, it is incredibly unusual for any Westbounds to traverse it in daylight. The carnival train has become the only reliable means of running over the viaduct in daylight and it only happens once a year. |
