| NERR's Old Hickory job works the yard, preparing to shove into the Dupont mill. 8531 is the only operating NERR locomotive in the company's traditional green and yellow paint. All others either wear predecessor paint or the new adopted company colors, which is essentially BNSF H2 with "N&E" instead of BNSF. This scheme was adopted after the NERR purchased B40-8Ws from BNSF, which resulted in older GEs on the roster being retired. |
