| An afternoon of heavy overcast with dust storms and even some rain (in a region ravaged by severe drought), finally saw the sun dropping below the clouds shortly before sunset and just in time to catch the southbound Algoa from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth crossing the Sand River, on the Free State main line near Virginia |
