| KC Junction; where the L&N meets the C&O... protected by the B&O? When at the time new CSX consolidated operations in the Cincinnati area, the company elected to use B&O signals in the terminal area despite most of the tracks to the south of Queensgate being of L&N and C&O heritage. Flash forward to today, the area remains a holdout for B&O CPLs, while ironically most have been removed on actual B&O heritage rails. |
