NS high hood GP38-2 #5138 idles away in the cold at Hobson Yard on the West Virginia Secondary as Norfolk Southern prepares to idle the line. An announcement made last week outlined pending termination for the line as a through route from Glouster, Ohio south through Hobson to Nitro, WV. Seen in the background are the Gavin and Kyger Creek power plants located at Cheshire, Ohio which have not taken coal by train in a number of years. 1/18/2016.
