Remarks & Notes |
"SIGNAL BRIDGE"
The Jamestown Road bridge over the tracks on the West Slope provides more than just a crossing for vehicular traffic. The PRR Position Light Signals are mounted to the side for eastbound trains, giving a literal definition to a "signal bridge."
An eastbound approaches the bridge and lights up the signal heads and west face of the structure. The photographers vehicle sits parked out of sight lighting up the snow covered roadway ahead of it.
