| Legacy Stone Work at Ludlow - In as many times as I have photographed this spot, I have always failed to include the old stone masonry on the east pier of this bridge at Ludlow.
The stone work dates back to the 1920's or earlier and most of the examples of it on the Needles Subdivision have either been replaced with modern building materials, or are on disused alignments along side of the current track.
This example of legacy stone work is one of the few reaming examples still in use. |
