Remarks & Notes
Built by EMD in March 1952 as USA #B-1809 for US Army. Model "MRS" means Military Road Switcher. Donated by the USAF to the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum in 1982 and painted as SD&A 1809. It is still at the museum but its wheels are worn out and because of the adjustable gauge axles, it's hard to get replacements. The Museum's webpage for this locomotive is: https://www.psrm.org/trains/diesel/san-diego-arizona-1809/
