Weißer Turm
A U11 train for the Messezentrum (exhibition center) departs the Weisser Turm station in the old city of Nürnberg. Three primary lines comprise the 36km Nürnberg U-Bahn (metro) network. This U11 service operates over the dense center portion of the busy U1 line. In this case, it is operating to handle the extra traffic created by the week-long Toy Fair at the exhibition center. The slogan on the front and sides of the cars touts the use of "Ökostrom" or green energy. |
