Amtrak #503 was once a frequent visitor to San Diego many years ago when it wore its famed "Pepsi Can" paint scheme. 25 years later, Dash 8's like #503 aren't as frequent visiting "America's Finest City," and when one does, it's a treat. After just arriving from San Luis Obispo, a quick 20 minute turn around makes this Dash 8 heading back up north, but to Goleta tonight.
