Remarks & Notes
During our brief visit to the Indiana and Ohio in Brookville, Indiana, a mechanic showed up and brought the Lima switcher to life to work on the prime mover. Although the switcher didn’t move, it was a real treat to see and hear a Lima diesel. I’ve seen quite a few Lima steam locomotives run, from Cass Shays to C&O 614 and SP 4449, but this was the only time that I witnessed a live Lima diesel.
