Once pulling the hottest trains on the Southern system, these consecutively-numbered NS GP38-3s are both former high hood GP50s built in 1980 and are now in local service. On its return trip from Flowery Branch to Chamblee, local train P68 passes stopped intermodal train 238 at Duluth. Thankfully, these four-axles still look good 10 years after being rebuilt, especially the leader which is wearing an Operation Lifesaver scheme.
