Remarks & Notes
Waiting for rebirth – Bamgor & Arootook F3A 46 stands outside of the former Reading Company shops in Reading, Pennsylvania. Missing its prime mover, the 1948 EMD is now owned by the Anthracite Railroads Historical Society. Soon it will go into the shops to receive a prime mover from a Santa Fe CF7, and it will soon be repainted in the CNJ tangerine and blue scheme. After about 20 years as CNJ 56, it will again be transformed into DL&W 663, and will operate regularly operate on the DL&W main at Steamtown.
