Is this the future of passenger rail transportation in California or the United States as a whole? The highly controversial California high speed rail project reaches a peak with this Siemens mock up on display at the California State Railroad Museum. The mock up is on loan from Siemens in a joint venture with East Japan Railway Company for the "Fast Tracks: The World of High-Speed Rail" exhibit.
