FEC 109 crosses a bridge which divides the city of Oakland Park from the City of Wilton Manors. The bridge, which was double tracked during the FEC passenger service era, will once again either be revitalized/renovated to accommodate the second track once again. It is also possible, and more likely, that a new bridge will be constructed to once again carry passenger traffic by the way of Brightline.
