While waiting for NS 957 to depart Lynchburg, VA for Spencer, NC; We were presented with 2 Southbound and 2 Northbound trains at Hurt, VA. Here NS 18M crosses the Sycamore Creek trestle just south of Altavista, VA. This timing and light was perfect for 611 to be captured on the main No. 1 but almost 2 hours behind scedule, and routed on main No. 2 once it finally came; This was my favorite shot from Hurt.
