Alvia 4141 service of the Renfe from Madrid Chamartin to Gijón is running thourgh the valley of the Bernesga river on the Pajares pass line over the cantabrian mountain range near Villanueva de la Tercia. Talgo 130 # 008 "Patito" (small duck) including both power cars is capable to change gauge between standard and the iberian broad, running through a gauge changing device with 15 km/h. It has a maximum velocity of 220 km/h under 3000 V DC (broad gauge) and 250 km/h under 25000 V 50 Hz AC (standard gauge), the power is 2 x 2400 kW. The 45 trains of the 130 series were built by Bombardier and Talgo from 2006 to 2009.
