Remarks & Notes |
BNSF 6032 heads an empty coal train east up the grade from Albus, near Rock Island dam for 16 miles to Quincy, WA which includes Trinidad loop. The train is about to leave the banks of the Columbia River at this point and head up a coulee to the loop. A careful look to the above right of the train will locate Great Northern's original grade alignment. The GN used many trestles in making its original climb in 1893. |
