Just a few minutes before the taking of this photo, I was looking out upon the yards and beautiful mountains of Roanoke from a nice Vantage point for viewing both, and I couldn't help but notice the little siding that comes into the scrap yard here and think to myself how awesome it would be to shoot something using it. Knowing the rarity of leads like this being used, I expected nothing as I got back into the car to dig for something or another in my camera bag. My father, who happened to still be outside of the car, knocked on the windshield and pointed in the direction of the yard. I was just expecting another train coming in to town, but grabbed the camera just in case it was worth shooting. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised to see Steel Dynamic's former EJ&E SW1 bringing a couple scrap gons into Progress Rail's scrap yard via the siding I had my interest set on!
