Remarks & Notes |
The french company Carel-et-Fouché delivered 4 ‘Micheline colonial’ one meter gauge diesel railcars ZM # 514 to ZM # 517 in 1952/1953 to Madagascar (REGIE DES CHEMINS DE FER DE MADAGASCAR). They had a 120 HP Mercedes prime mover and run on two threeaxle rubber-tyred bogies. ZM # 514 "Vintsy" returned back to France in 1996, where it operated on a number of tourist railways before being put on display in this museum "L'Aventure Michelin" (The Michelin Adventure) in Clermont-Ferrand. |
