Just a few miles south of San Luis Obispo, California, Amtrak's train #11, the Coast Starlight, is found threading its way through Price Canyon, near Pismo Beach. The old Southern Pacific Coast Line was the home of the railroad's famed Coast Daylight passenger trains, although the line predates even those trains - the date on the through truss bridge is 1913 - 75 years before Amtrak F40PH 398 led this train from Seattle to Los Angeles.
