| CSXT's Q140 is Northbound by Hardeeville, SC on a dreary day as Tropical Depression Bonnie rolls in. Hardeeville seems to be where the plague of PTC conversion has left off in South Carolina on the A-line and it seems as if time has stood still on modernization. Sadly only several miles stand from this location to an already converted Nahunta Sub in GA. It's very frustrating becoming interested in something that has stood for all of one's lifetime to watch it fall in less than a year of first noting it. With all the years I've been to Charleston and surrounding areas; I pick the time period where it won't be the same from this scene to the next time I'm able to visit. "The ACL don't run here anymore". No kidding. |
