Burlington Northern Santa Fe’s MDENSTO (Denver to Stockton) manifest freight curves into the afternoon sun west of Clay, Colorado, on July 16, 2001. Delivered to BNSF from General Electric 11 months prior, C44-9W No. 5460 still looks pretty fresh.
