Remarks & Notes |
Just west of Fochville, a pair of 18E's in the TFR red livery are heading east along the Potchefstroom - Houtheuwel link line with a block load of bagged cement from Lichtenburg. The covered wagon (5th wagon behind the locos) is a type O-1 hat was originally introduced to transport palletized fruit in the Western Cape, but that traffic has all been lost to road, so the sliding doors have been removed and these are now used for bagged cement traffic. |
