Seeing rain being knocked off of the catenary when it's raining on a cloudy day is common. But seeing rain being knocked off of the catenary when there's sunshine with almost no clouds in sight, not so much. Amtrak Acela 2165 flies west with Power Car 2033 in the lead. The reason for no clouds is that the clouds moved out quicky while bringing down some rain, making this shot rare. |
