Remarks & Notes
A beautiful afternoon in Raton, NM finds an eastbound BNSF empty ballast train passing through town as it heads for La Junta, CO after working around the Springer, NM area on the passenger-only Raton Subdivision. With Amtrak's Southwest Chief being the only regular train over this line, catching a move like this is especially rare.
