| Running fast on the Union Pacific in the eastern Utah desert, #6 is just going over the switch at West Mounds. Mounds is where the Sunnyside Branch leaves the Green River Sub. to access the ECDC hazardous material landfill which is the destination of the well known “Dirt Train Local”. The track nearest the camera is the branch. The time is exactly 7AM and the sun is just barely over the top of the Book Cliffs to the north. |
