Reading Technical & Historical Society’s GP30 leads a Blue Mountain and Reading passenger train across the 100 year old stone arch bridge spanning Maiden Creek between Temple and Leesport, Pennsylvania. This line was a part of PRR’s Schuylkill Branch from Philadelphia to Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. In the early 1960’s, long before I ever held a camera, this line was said to have been the last stand for the Pennsy’s huge center cab Baldwin road switchers.
