Bound for Grand Central Terminal, a Hudson Line train utilizing a push-pull trainset, slows for the station stop at Tarrytown, a community along the famous Hudson River. After allowing time for passengers to board, the train will run express from Tarrytown all the way to Harlem-125th Street.
With three lines radiating north out of Grand Central Terminal plus service to Port Jervis on the former Erie, Metro North covers a wide swatch of New York's northern suburbs with varying terrains.
