Utah Railway's RIT311 local passes the warm spring pond adjacent to UP's North Yard as it heads south heading toward Salt Lake City on August 10, 2012. Lead engine 2003 is now listed as a GP38-2, but is in fact a rebuilt GP35 (ex-SP 6311, ex-SP 6598, nee-SP 7701). The other engine, Utah GP38-2 2002, was originally SP GP35 7484 (later SP 6596 and then SP 6304).
