Remarks & Notes |
Strates Carnival Over the Delaware River
After being delayed for almost 6 hours the 2016 edition of the Strates Carnival train crosses the always impressive Millrift Bridge as low lying sun provides "golden hour light" to the scene. The train was initially to run with only the third unit however it was discovered shortly after the crew had arrived the bell had been stolen. The crew was forced to taxi down to Suffern and bring an additional two units to Middletown where they'd run West with the three engines. Shortly before arriving into Binghamton the train would collide with a train resulting in heavy damage to the front handrails of the lead engine. This resulted in the ex-UP SD90MAC being wyed in Binghamton to be used as the third leader on this train. |
