| Having just met an eastbound Metrolink at Vincent Hill on the ex-SP Saugus Line, a detouring UP Los Angeles to Denver Z train racks up some rare mileage as it heads north toward Bakersfield and the central valley. A devastating wildfire in Cajon Pass has temporarily forced this train and others off their normal routes through that area. |
