| BNSF 7663 heads up a Z Train westbound over Nason Creek just west of Merritt, WA as it starts its final assault on the east side of Stevens Pass. It's 5 miles to the east portal of the Cascade Tunnel, then 7.8 miles down grade to Scenic. The four GEs had no trouble keeping the train moving up the hill. |
