Grand Canyon Railway's newest member to the active roster is locomotive #29. GCRY 29, a 2-8-0 steam locomotive, makes its first southbound run on the Williams Flyer train; returning its passengers from Grand Canyon National Park. GCRY 29 charges back up to track speed out the railroad location Quivero after stopping to pick up the cowboys who pretend to "hold up" train. In a couple of day, GCRY 29 will team up with 2-8-2 steam locomotive, GCRY 4690, and run double headed to the Grand Canyon and back.
