Remarks & Notes
Exactly 100 years before, the 1 meter gauge Brienzersee line from Interlaken Ost to Brienz was inaugurated by the SBB. On this occasion, a steam train of association Ballenberg Dampf Bahn (BDB) circulated from Interlaken Ost to Brienz and back. The 2-6-0 Mogul locomotive G 3/4 # 14 "Madlaina" was built in 1902 by SLM Winterthur for the RhB and came to the association Dampfloki-Club Appenzeller Bahnen in 1972. It got a new boiler by the SLM in 1986, but was stabled later in 2003. Once again operational since last year, the locomotive is on loan to the BDB in the moment.
